Livestock Shipping

All livestock are shipped on Mondays.  If we are extremely busy on Monday, livestock will be shipped on Wednesday as a backup.  All livestock are guaranteed live upon delivery.  If the livestock is dead when received, we'll need a picture of the item, within 1 hour of delivery based on carrier delivery time-stamped, with the bag still sealed.  Email us a picture of the dead livestock.  Once we verify, we'll process a store credit to your account.  There are no exceptions.  You will need to receive the livestock and acclimate it according to our guidelines.  Please also make sure to enter the correct shipping address when ordering to avoid delays which will void the guarantee.  All shipments must be signed upon the first delivery attempt or the warranty is voided. We ship using FedEx, USPS, or UPS overnight for all livestock.  All corals will ship with a heat or cold pack if needed at our discretion. There are no refunds on livestock or shipping.  All frags are held in our frag tank for a minimum of 2 weeks before selling or shipping. We ensure that all livestock are healthy before shipping. We do not offer refunds on livestock.

Acclimation Guide Lines

Livestock should be slowly acclimated with the main display tank's water.  It should be on a drip schedule over an hour period at minimum.
    1. Put the livestock in a small tank with the water it came with ensuring to use a large enough container as water from the main tank will need to be added.
    2. Drip water from the main display tank to the holding tank using a small hose and a ball valve.  Drip enough water to equal 4 times the amount of water currently in the holding tank.
    3. Ensure that both temperature is the same.  It may help if the holding tank sits inside the sump, if possible, to keep the temperature the same between the two.
    4. Once the livestock has been acclimated, place it in the tank at a low-lighted area if it's a coral or let it free inside the tank for a fish.  Keep in mind the light intensity when placing a coral in the tank.
